From the very beginning of the New Year's holiday, all adults and children were in an atmosphere of cordiality and fun. Guests were shown a New Year's theatrical performance from the Harlequin Puppet Theater. Thanks to the charm and skill of the actors, young viewers were able to plunge into a fairy tale with magical transformations, fairy-tale heroes and, of course, gifts and prizes from Santa Claus and Snow Maiden.
At the end of the evening, a small buffet was waiting for the little guests and, according to tradition, every child who was interested could tell a New Year's poem to Santa Claus. In general, the "Embassy Christmas Tree" turned out to be bright and fun. The event received a wide response among Russian compatriots living in the United Arab Emirates.
