Embassy Christmas tree held in Abu Dhabi

December 25, 2011 in the metropolitan hotel "Al Raha Beach" (Al Raha Beach) hosted a children's Christmas tree, organized by the Embassy of Russia in the UAE and the Association of Russian Women "Rossiyanka". The event was attended by over 500 children and their parents.

From the very beginning of the New Year's holiday, all adults and children were in an atmosphere of cordiality and fun. Guests were shown a New Year's theatrical performance from the Harlequin Puppet Theater. Thanks to the charm and skill of the actors, young viewers were able to plunge into a fairy tale with magical transformations, fairy-tale heroes and, of course, gifts and prizes from Santa Claus and Snow Maiden.

At the end of the evening, a small buffet was waiting for the little guests and, according to tradition, every child who was interested could tell a New Year's poem to Santa Claus. In general, the "Embassy Christmas Tree" turned out to be bright and fun. The event received a wide response among Russian compatriots living in the United Arab Emirates. The Russian Embassy in the UAE expresses its sincere gratitude to everyone who helped organize an excellent New Year's holiday, namely: the Harlequin Puppet Theater and the director and director of the theater A. Makhkamov personally; Tatyana Al Arud, president of the Rossiyanka Russian Women’s Union, Alla Astanina, Rossiyanka’s vice-president, A.
