In the UAE detained a gang of credit card fraudsters

The police of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah arrested five Asian men who used fake credit cards in jewelry stores.

Police in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah arrested a gang of five men of Asian descent who are accused of using fake credit cards to buy gold from jewelry stores.

Colonel Abdullah Al Munkis, Director of the Criminal and Investigation Department, said the police received information that the suspects after the sale sold gold for cash at a low price.

Police identified the suspects and searched their place of residence, where dozens of fake credit cards were found. Tools and fixtures used in their fraudulent activities were seized. The case was referred to the state prosecution.
