Dubai's five-star Park Regis Kris Kris Hotel hosted the Taste of Singapore Asian Cuisine Festival, which marks the grand opening of the hotel’s new restaurant, Kris.
The main event of the festival was the participation of the famous Singapore chef, Mrs. Devagi Sanugam, the author of 20 cookbooks, a leading cookery column, teacher and entrepreneur, whose television programs on BBC and CNN are very popular all over the world. Known in the culinary world under the nickname "Queen of Spices", the chef prepared authentic dishes for the visitors of the new restaurant together with the restaurant chef - Punsak Sumonratankul. Every evening, guests were offered a new menu, including various types of Thai noodles, rice with chicken, "rojaka" (raw fruit salad) and all kinds of delicacies and sweets. In addition, chef Sanugam held two master classes in the restaurant, during which she demonstrated her skills, shared her signature recipes and secrets.
Kris Restaurant is located on the 19th floor of Park Regis Kris Kin. It got its name in honor of the asymmetric native dagger used in the Asia-Pacific region. The restaurant's menu includes dishes of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indian and, of course, Arabic cuisine. The restaurant has a cocktail lounge and a built-in wine cellar for connoisseurs and connoisseurs of vintage and collection wine. Park Regis Kris Kin is located opposite BurJuman Mall, near the Khalid bin Al Waleed Dubai Metro Station.
