Antipasti without embellishment

Even the menu at BiCE Mare seems to exceed all customer expectations. It is very difficult to make your choice from the list of cold and hot snacks offered here. We ask the waiter for advice. He is emphatically polite and polite and offers to try beef carpaccio in a hot basket of cheddar cheese, fresh salmon tartare with mango chutney and red caviar, as well as a signature version of the famous Italian mozzarella salad with tomatoes and fresh basil, complemented by a chef -Bece cooked with fried scallops, light pesto sauce and green tomato compote. Even it all sounds so that drooling starts, and what it looks like, it smells ... But it melts in your mouth! Mmmm ... You can’t imagine a better idea. Accompanied by the chilled Italian white Chianti recommended by the local sommelier, and with the views of the “playing and singing” Dubai fountain right outside the terrace, very good. Be sure to say that in BiCE Mare food and its quality is an unshakable cult. Food can only be good and tasty, it should be a lot, and this is not discussed.

Moreover, with the onset of the long-awaited winter coolness, visitors to BiCE can enjoy lunch and dinner outdoors. Not like in Italy, of course, but still.

From main to main

No, I didn’t make a reservation. Appetizers from Italians - this is the main part of the meal, which is impossible to get around even those who adhere to the strictest diets. For what else, if not for appetizers with freshly baked bread, focaccia and crispy bread sticks that need to be dipped in aromatic olive oil, you can pass the time waiting for the main dish. There are endless quantities of them in BiCE Mare: a variety of pasta, including ravioli with meat, vegetable, cheese and fish fillings, and risotto, and meat, and fish. We stop on a Wagyu Australian beef steak with mushroom sauce and vegetable salad, and grilled sea bass with a side dish of eggplant, mushrooms and tomatoes. Uncomplicated, satisfying and surprisingly tasty!

There are separate “five points” for the decoration of dishes, but all ten are better, because people first “eat with their eyes” and then taste the food. Therefore, in BiCE Mare the philosophy is simple - any food should impress with its quality, quantity and how it is served. Nothing new, but this philosophy is strictly followed.

Espresso, limoncello, ciao ...

By and large, one could not continue further, everything has already been said in three words. An Italian meal is unthinkable without a few final chords for dessert. The first - strong as a hug, hot and sweet, like a kiss, freshly brewed espresso coffee. Second - piles of traditional Italian Limoncello liqueur, served almost frozen, and therefore refreshing and invigorating instantly. And the third - a friendly farewell to everyone who, during the dinner at BiCE Mare, became almost a member of your family, it was so nice to spend time in this nice place and chat with such wonderful people.

I agree, you can’t argue about tastes, but we probably managed to understand the formula for the popularity of the BiCE Mare restaurant. And it is expressed in a simple phrase once said by restaurateur Robert Ruggeri, the owner of the BiCE chain: “It was a good dinner, and if I am invited here tomorrow, I will go again.” And we will go. And dinner was a miracle, how good!
