Jumeirah Group: New Maldives Resort

The Dubai-based luxury hotel chain Jumeirah Group, part of Dubai Holding, signed an agreement in February 2010 with Xanadu Holdings Private Limited to manage the new five-star resort Jumeirah Meradhoo, located in GaafuAlifuAtoll, in the south of Male Atoll atoll (Maldives).

The resort complex Jumeirah Meradhoo, consisting of 36 villas, is located on a desert island with an area of ​​45 thousand m². At the same time, another 16 villas form a unique "sea village", which is separated from the main island by a kilometer-long coral reef. Thus, on the same island there are two hotels at the same time. Each of the villas of the "sea village" has an area of ​​240 m², and the area of ​​villas located on the coast of the main island is 300 m². In addition, to entertain its guests, Jumeirah Meradhoo provides a diving center with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful reefs surrounding the Maldives, three restaurants, bars and the Talise Spa.

Resort Management Jumeirah Meradhoo is the second project in the Maldives in the portfolio of the Jumeirah Group. In total, at the moment, the group works in 42 projects around the world.
