The largest mosaic in the world assembled in Dubai

In Dubai, a record puzzle of 63 containers was assembled.

Guido van Helten, an Australian artist, unveiled the Red Bull Curates: Jigsaw project in Dubai. It is the largest mosaic in the world 135 m long and 12 m high. The giant creation consists of 63 containers.

A huge piece of street art depicts a gigantic pair of eyes. It took the artist 18 days and 500 liters of paint to create a 207-ton structure. Two 100-ton cranes were involved in moving painted containers at 117LIVE's Autism Rocks Arena at Dubai Outlet Mall.

“For me, Dubai has always been a stopover from Australia to Europe ... Of course, the world of money and business reigns here, but there are also ordinary people who work in everyday work,” van Helten commented on his creation, inspired by a meeting with the driver camels, - “I did not understand how diverse this place is. I did not understand how many different cultures are mixed in one city. ”
