UAE residents feel the echoes of the earthquake in Iraq and Iran

The echoes of a powerful earthquake that claimed the lives of hundreds of people in Iran and Iraq reached the United Arab Emirates.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.3, killing at least 210 people in Iran and Iraq on Sunday, November 12, 2017, reached the UAE. Residents of the country noted on Twitter that they felt the echoes of the elements.

As a result of the earthquake, more than 1.7 thousand people were injured. The number of dead and injured may increase as search and rescue operations are carried out in remote areas of Iran.

Echoes of the earthquake were felt in several regions of Iran, while the epicenter occurred in Kermanshah. The earthquake was so powerful that it was also felt in Lebanon and Turkey.
