In the UAE, a single mother was acquitted for having a relationship with a young married man

In the United Arab Emirates, a woman and her lover are acquitted of extramarital affairs.

A 51-year-old divorced single mother and a 26-year-old married man were released from charges of extramarital sex in the UAE.

A woman of Filipino descent and an Egyptian were charged after a woman went to the police with a complaint about a man who had beaten her. During the police interrogation, it turned out that the applicant lived with the Egyptian and had sexual relations with him throughout the year. The man claimed that he was married, there was no connection, and called the Filipina "a close friend."

In court, the couple denied the allegations, claiming that they really were only close friends. Recalling the lack of evidence, the court acquitted the couple.

However, the Egyptian was fined 2,000 dirhams ($ 544) for beating a woman.
