Telegram users in the UAE report the resumption of the messenger.
As of 4 pm on April 29, the Telegram messenger resumed work throughout the United Arab Emirates.
About an hour before that, an official Telegram account on Twitter showed that Pavel Durov’s brainchild was restored in Europe, Russia, the CIS countries, Africa and the Middle East. From the messages it also follows that part of the equipment during the emergency shutdown received damage, now and now repair services are working on data recovery.
A global failure of Telegram occurred on the night of April 28-29, 2018 due to a power outage in the data storage and processing center in Amsterdam.
