New marinas to be built at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai

Nakheel is investing $ 4 million in new berths at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

Developer Nakheel is investing 15 million dirhams ($ US 4 million) in a project to increase the number of marinas on Palm Jumeirah. Two new moorings will open on the island.

New marinas will be located at the Azure Residences on the seafront on the east side of the island, as well as at The Pointe, next to the new mall, which is about to open.

In total, the new berths will be able to receive 44 boats and yachts up to 30 meters long. Their construction should be completed this year.

Nakheel already operates two berths on the island — Palm Views East and West — and is building six berths on the Deira Islands promenade. It can accommodate 614 boats and yachts up to 60 meters long.
