Two attractions from the capital of the UAE included in the list of "best places in the world"

Two attractions of Abu Dhabi were included in the list of "best places in the world", according to Time Magazine.

The Abu Dhabi Louvre Museum and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi Amusement Park are on the list of "best places in the world" compiled by Time magazine.

Other gulf attractions on the list include the King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Saudi Arabia, the Al-Karaouin Library in Fez, Morocco, and the Marriott Mena House Hotel in Cairo.

Tourism experts consider the inclusion of Abu Dhabi on the list a testament to the success of the city in diversifying its economy.

"We have the Louvre, Warner Bros, Yas Island and huge investments, efforts and brands coming to the market," said Gaurav Sinha, a tourism expert from Dubai.

The UAE is making a lot of efforts to increase the number of visitors in the country. Recent initiatives included the Cabinet’s decision to grant visas to foreign tourists upon arrival, including for Russians.

Last year, Dubai confirmed its status as the number one tourist destination in the UAE - 87 percent of all arrivals came here.

Experts say that Abu Dhabi also takes important steps in attracting tourists, primarily due to the opening of new cultural attractions such as the Louvre.
