The Dubai Arena, which will be the largest in the region, will open in the first half of next year.
The developer of the largest indoor arena in the Middle East - Meraas - said that Dubai Arena will be able to receive its first guests in April next year.
At the moment, facade work has been completed, work is underway on external infrastructure and landscape design, including in the parking lot of the future entertainment center.
Upon completion, the arena will be able to receive 17 thousand guests at various events, including concerts, festivals, conferences and exhibitions, as well as sports events such as basketball, boxing, volleyball and hockey competitions.
The arena is equipped with the most advanced technologies, one of the incarnations of which is the futuristic roof of the building.
"We are confident that the Dubai Arena will enhance the status of the city in the international tourism market, and the audience will have the opportunity to see the world's most talented artists and sporting events in the heart of Dubai," said Meraas group chairman Abdullah Al-Habbai.
