The Swiss manufacturer has released a limited line of watches, the design of which commemorates the culture of the United Arab Emirates.

Swiss watchmaker Jaquet Droz this week launched a unique Bird Repeater Falcon watch worth 1.97 million dirhams ($ US 536 thousand). This is the most expensive model presented in the company store located in Dubai Mall.

The company also released a limited edition Grande Seconde Moon Dubai Limited Edition watch. Around the world, only 28 copies are available.

“We are launching Repeater Falcon to pay tribute to the culture and traditions of the UAE. We wanted to create a unique thing to show that we are very close to customers and their traditions. We draw inspiration from the culture and nature of countries. Repeater Falcon is a work of art, only available at Dubai Mall, "said Christian Luttmann, CEO of Jaquet Droz.

He added that all watches of the limited line are exclusive and hand-made.

“Dubai is pushing brands to work better and develop luxurious and unique products. The Emirate is also expanding the boundaries of creativity in everything that it does. Dubai inspired us to expand the boundaries in watchmaking,” he added.

The CEO said that demand for watches among wealthy people in Dubai and the UAE is growing.
