The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation said that the prototype of the Russian SUV Aurus will be ready in March 2019.
The prototype of the Aurus SUV will be ready in March 2019, in the Middle East it will be in high demand, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov told reporters during the IDEX-2019 international defense exhibition.
“The prototype of the SUV will be ready in March 2019. When the prototype is ready, we will need time for certification procedures,” he said.
Manturov expressed the opinion that in the Middle East, an SUV will be in great demand. He also noted that Tawazun Holding, which received a 36% stake in Aurus, a car manufacturer, is considering the localization of SUV production in the UAE.
IDEX - one of the most representative international exhibitions of weapons, security technologies, is held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan - the president of the UAE - with the support of the government and the armed forces of the country.
