A floating station has appeared in Dubai, which connects several transport routes at once.
On May 4, 2019, the first floating public transport station in the UAE was opened in Dubai Festival City. It serves sea flights to Jaddaf and helps passengers transfer to the Green Metro Line and buses.
The station is capable of simultaneously accommodating 25 passengers. Flights will depart every 10 minutes from 7am to midnight.
Mattar Al Thayer, Director General and Chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), personally opened the floating station.
