Subway cars for women and children in Dubai will be moved to a new place

Dubai authorities are thinking about moving special subway cars for children and women.

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to move wagons for women and children on emirate metro trains. Within two months, wagons with the corresponding signs will be moved from their current location near the Golden Wagon to the other end of the train.

The initiative is designed to provide passengers with the proper level of confidentiality and convenience. The transfer process will be completed by the end of August, the RTA said in a statement.

"The RTA cares about the comfort of Dubai metro passengers, especially women and children," said Mohammed Youssef al-Mudharreb, director of the rail department at RTA.

According to him, the changes will be implemented in three stages, the first of which is aimed at raising awareness of metro passengers using social networks and signs.
