Dubai, UAE. The third festival of Russian culture "Matryoshka" will be held in Dubai, in the City Walk area, from May 2 to 5. The main theme of the festival is Russian folk tales.
The event will introduce visitors to the rich Russian culture and contemporary life of Russians, including fashion, classical and contemporary performing arts, sports and national cuisine.
The festival was supported by People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Baskov and fashion designer Igor Gulyaev. Also, performances of the groups "Bis-quit" and "The Acapella Express". In addition, the festival program includes a real Russian fair, fashion shows, a special 3D art installation, light shows and unique stage productions of the prima ballerinas of the Mariinsky Theater of St. Petersburg.
During the Matryoshka festival, Multaka Al Adva Square in Dubai will be decorated with installations based on the plots of famous Russian folk tales. One of the days of the festival will be devoted to sports, on this day visitors will be able to meet with famous athletes and public figures, including the FIFA ambassador Victoria Lopyreva. There will also be a raffle of tickets for the World Cup.
