A charity race dedicated to Terry Fox, Terry Fox Run 2019 will be held in Abu Dhabi. Everyone can take part in it, who wants to make a contribution to the cause of finding a cure for cancer. All funds raised during the race will be used for research, and the winners will receive commemorative medals and prizes.
Terrence Stanley Fox is a Canadian activist supporting people with cancer. At the age of 19, he had a malignant tumor and his leg was amputated. A few years later, he attempted an over-marathon run through Canada from east to west to collect donations for cancer research.
