Emirates Airline Airlines launches daily flights to Kiev

Emirates Airline, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced the expansion of its network of flights to Eastern Europe.

Starting January 16, 2014, daily flights will be launched to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. They will be carried out by Airbus A340-500 aircraft.

Thus, for a country with a population of 45 million, new prospects open up for the development of business and tourism. It is also expected that, thanks to the new flight, deliveries of building materials, steel, engineering equipment and spare parts for aircraft can increase. It is worth recalling that Ukraine is also an agro-industrial power and is a major exporter of sunflower oil, a producer of grain and sugar. “We offer Ukraine daily direct flights to Dubai and convenient connections to Southeast Asia and India, as well as to Australia through our partnership with its national carrier Qantas,” said Hubert Frach, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the West .

Daily flights encoded with EK171 will depart from Dubai at 17.15 and arrive in Kiev at 20.35. The return flight will depart from the capital of Ukraine at 22.10 and arrive at the final destination at 04.55 the next day. It will offer passengers 12 coupes in the first class, 42 comfortable seats in the business class and 204 seats in the economy class. Baggage allowance will be 50, 40 and 30 kg, respectively.
