Arabian Travel Market 2008 - 15th International Tourism Exhibition

Reed Travel Exhibitions, the organizer of the Arabian Travel Market, the largest tourist exhibition in the Middle East, held under the auspices of the Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing of the Government of Dubai (DTKM) and under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai, presented the changes in the format the event in 2008.

This year, the four-day ATM exhibition will be held 15 times already - from May 6 to 9 at the Dubai International Exhibition Center. During the first three days, it will be open only to travel industry professionals. On the last day, everyone will be able to visit the exhibition, for which many entertainment contests and special events will be organized.

At ATM 2008, the hall plan will be changed so that hotels, tour operators and service companies from Europe are located on the one hand, and representatives of the UAE and the Middle East on the other. Behind them will be the stands of exhibitors from North Africa, America and Asia. The session for tour operators and travel agencies Hosted Buyers will be held on the first day, before the official opening of the exhibition.

The ATM International Tourism Exhibition was first held in 1994. In 2007, the exhibition was visited by more than 23 thousand tourism industry professionals from 108 countries of the world. The number of foreign visitors increased by 10.4%, and local - by 5.3%, compared with 2006. A record number of journalists also worked at the Arabian Travel Market 2007 - 976 from 43 countries, 382 exhibitors took part in it, representing a total of 2043 companies from 64 countries.
