Spanish hotel chain opens new hotel in Dubai

Next month a new hotel will open in Dubai from an international operator.

The Spanish operator Barceló Hotel Group opens a new hotel in Dubai Production City (IMPZ) in Dubai this September.

Occidental IMPZ Dubai, Conference and Events Center, will be the first for an operator in the emirate. The hotel will be located in close proximity to the Expo 2020 venue and 30 minutes from Dubai airports.

The hotel will offer 239 rooms in two adjacent, interconnected buildings. The modern hotel is aimed at business travelers. Conference rooms will be equipped with advanced technology and automation.

The new hotel also has two luxurious pools, a modern fitness center and spa services.

Guests are offered a wide choice of dishes - the hotel has six new restaurants, a sports bar, a cafe, two snack bars and a lounge bar.

The hotel is one of eight new facilities that the group is preparing for the UAE market. The Barceló Hotel Group currently operates two hotels in the region - the Barceló Residences Dubai Marina and Occidental Sharjah Grand.
