Most tourists came to the capital of the UAE from India, the USA and China, and the UK became the leader in sending guests from Europe. The department noted that they are very satisfied with the achieved indicators and will continue to increase the tourist flow.
To this end, Abu Dhabi, in particular, holds major sporting and cultural events. Among the closest is the Special Olympics, which starts in the capital on March 14.
It is reported that over a million tourists last year attracted the island of Saadiyat and, in particular, the Louvre Museum of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi also relies on the development of cruise tourism - in 2018, liners delivered more than 350 thousand guests to the capital.
